The site contains a biography, plus pages on The Avengers, Goldfinger and other productions that Honor has been involved in. The Avengers Declassified

After eight months working behind closed doors to bring the website together, Alan Hayes launches The Avengers Declassified, a new presence at TheAvengers.TV. The site opens with 175 pages of material, including the most comprehensive account of the 1971 stage adaptation of The Avengers ever published. The site quickly establishes itself and effectively takes over the baton from The Avengers Forever since that site is now no longer being updated.

David K. Smith dusts off the 'What's New at TAF' page for the first time in nine months to announce as promised, "something truly remarkable" the launch of The Avengers Declassified. David applauds the new website, declaring that, "This is surely a masterwork, not to mention an astounding surprise, considering Alan had more or less joined me in 'Avengers semi-retirement.' Who says new things can't come from 40-year-old TV shows?"

Expanding upon his ru.Wikipedia.org page (opened 5th May 2007), Muscovite Denis Kirsanov opens the first Russian language website devoted to The Avengers. The website will, over time, build into one of the most comprehensive resources on the series and its global transmission and marketing.

The Avengers Declassified

The Avengers Declassified opens a new section which deals with the missing stories of Series 1 in depth, starting with Hot Snow. Along with the accompanying episode guides, this grows into the most detailed guide to the first year of The Avengers ever presented. This has since been superseded by a print volume by Declassified authors - Two Against the Underworld.

The Avengers Declassified is given exclusive access to publicity materials and interviews for the forthcoming UK DVD releases from Optimum Home Releasing. Alan Hayes becomes involved in the production of extra features for these releases, as does Declassified contributor Jaz Wiseman, and this association will lead to many 'first looks' for the site and a regular recommendation of TheAvengers.TV in the DVD booklets.
